Before building Astor, Peyton spent over four years as a Senior Product Manager at Informed.IQ, where he built AI-powered software products for some of the largest banks in the U.S. — including JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and Ally Financial — leading everything from automated loan origination to fraud detection systems processing millions of documents.
He saw firsthand how custom software could transform operations at scale. But he also noticed something: the businesses that needed it the most — privately-owned subcontractors on production-builder tracts — were holding multimillion-dollar operations together with handwritten takeoffs, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp threads.
That's why he built Astor. The source of truth built specifically for residential production home subcontractors serving Lennar, D.R. Horton, GL Homes, and the rest — one record per lot that closes the gap between the supervisor's clipboard, the office shop ticket, the builder portal, and QuickBooks.
Peyton holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and has a background in risk strategy from American Express. When he's not building software, you'll find him exploring South Florida or diving into the latest AI research.
